KinderSmile Community Oral Health Center Uganda
KinderSmile Foundation's 17th Annual Global Outreach trip to Kenya and Uganda ended on a high note with the completion of a renovation project yielding KinderSmile Community Oral Health Center Uganda, a revamped Dental Home in the medically underserved community of Bweyale, Uganda. KSCOHC Uganda, now fully functional and equipped to serve children and families, leaves a legacy of KinderSmile Foundation abroad.
Lack of access and prioritization of oral health care is not only an issue in the United states, but globally. Through our efforts as a Foundation and partnership with Dr. Jane Mandera, a public health dentist in Bweyale, Uganda we are able to bridge the gap in access to oral health care for all. This new Dental Home expands the reach and improves overall health outcomes internationally.
Donations made to KSCOHC Uganda will help provide children and families of the Bweyale community with comprehensive dental care and education, as well as support the sustainability and development of the Dental Home for years to come!
